Hepatitis A inactivated vaccine is necessary. This vaccine prevents infection with the hepatitis A virus. If you delay vaccination until your child enters kindergarten, it will still be required at that time. Moreover, without hepatitis A vaccination, infection could significantly impact your child’s health. Currently, this vaccine is provided free of charge; therefore, vaccination is strongly recommended.
