A centipede bite generally does not enhance immunity. If the bite is superficial, it may cause damage to the skin and underlying tissues, resulting in localized redness and swelling. However, a deeper bite may lead to significant swelling of the affected limb and even systemic toxic symptoms such as fever and chills—none of which improve an individual’s immune function. To boost immunity, regular physical exercise is recommended.
