What causes a dull, intermittent pain in the testicles over the past few days?
Disease description:
Over the past few days, I’ve felt a slight pricking sensation in my testicles, accompanied by a mild, dull ache—not severe pain. I’d like to ask: What could be causing this intermittent, mild testicular pain?
In cases of acute orchitis, patients experience testicular pain accompanied by testicular swelling, high fever, and chills; the pain may radiate to the scrotum. Orchitis-related pain is typically severe and does not improve with rest. Patients may also present with nausea and vomiting, necessitating a urological evaluation at a hospital. Treatment for such patients involves both antiviral and antibacterial medications. Proper daily care is essential. If the pain becomes intolerable, antipyretic analgesics may be used for symptomatic relief.
