When the scrotum is pressed, a small, hard, and tender mass is felt within it. In most cases, this is caused by folliculitis, scrotal eczema, or a sebaceous cyst. Disinfect the affected area with iodophor, then apply an anti-inflammatory ointment and take oral anti-inflammatory medication to control inflammation. Keep the affected area clean, avoid local friction and irritation, refrain from masturbation, and temporarily abstain from sexual activity to prevent symptom exacerbation.
