Behçet’s disease can be treated with medications. For instance, glucocorticoids can alleviate manifestations such as anterior uveitis, genital ulcers, and oral ulcers associated with Behçet’s disease. Colchicine may also be used to improve erythema nodosum and arthritic manifestations induced by Behçet’s disease, while nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can help relieve arthritis symptoms caused by the disease. In cases where patients with Behçet’s disease develop aneurysms, interventional procedures or surgical interventions may be employed for treatment.
