Hello, liposuction involves a certain degree of trauma to the human body; therefore, the principle of “small-volume, multiple-session” procedures is recommended. The smaller the area treated, the less the trauma, the faster the recovery, the milder the discomfort, and the less likely general anesthesia will be required. Conversely, large-area liposuction entails greater trauma, more intense pain, slower recovery, and—most importantly—requires larger doses of anesthetic agents, thereby increasing the risk of anesthesia-related complications. We hope the above information is helpful to you. Wishing you a pleasant and healthy life!
