Synovitis can generally be treated with Celebrex (celecoxib); however, this medication must be used strictly as prescribed by a physician. Celebrex is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps alleviate knee pain and swelling caused by synovitis. For optimal efficacy, Celebrex is best used in combination with glucosamine.
