When patients experience pain, it is generally necessary to determine whether the shoulder joint is involved. If a patient presents with right shoulder and neck pain, muscle strain should be considered. Prolonged poor posture, lifting heavy objects, and other factors can damage the soft tissues of the right shoulder and neck, gradually leading to aseptic inflammation. Pain caused by shoulder joint disorders typically localizes around the shoulder joint—especially in the periaricular region—and often worsens at night.
