Can children with allergic asthma outgrow it as they grow older?
Disease description:
The child has been diagnosed with cough-variant asthma. We are unsure whether this condition will resolve as the child grows older. Will it improve or resolve with age?
Whether a child with cough-variant asthma will outgrow the condition upon reaching adulthood depends on individual circumstances and requires comprehensive evaluation. If the disease is relatively mild and the child has good overall physical health, the likelihood of spontaneous remission in adulthood is higher. Conversely, if the condition is more severe and the child’s constitution is relatively weak, the chance of spontaneous resolution in adulthood is lower.
