Uterine fibroids may cause hip pain, typically when the fibroids are relatively small. Patients often experience no obvious pain initially; however, as the fibroids gradually enlarge, they may compress pelvic organs, leading to abdominal pain or pubic bone pain. When patients experience symptoms such as increased menstrual bleeding or prolonged menstrual periods, they should promptly seek evaluation by a gynecologist.
