Disease description:

Recently, I’ve noticed an increase in vaginal discharge around my cervix. After undergoing a full-body examination at the hospital, my doctor diagnosed me with multiple Nabothian cysts on the cervix. I’d like to know: do multiple Nabothian cysts affect fertility or pregnancy?

Multiple Nabothian cysts of the cervix do not necessarily affect pregnancy; whether they impact fertility depends on the severity of the condition. If the multiple Nabothian cysts are mild—small in size and asymptomatic—they typically do not interfere with conception. However, if the cysts are large and located at the cervical os, they may impede sperm passage into the fallopian tubes, thereby potentially affecting fertility.
