For children with indigestion and belching, Bao He Wan (Preserved Harmony Pill) can be used for treatment. Bao He Wan promotes gastrointestinal motility and alleviates abdominal distension, thereby addressing the underlying symptoms. If symptoms are relatively severe, additional medications—such as Jian Wei Xiao Shi Pian (Stomach-Strengthening and Digestion-Promoting Tablets)—may be prescribed under a physician’s guidance. Adjunctive therapy may also include live combined Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecium granules.
