Can Asthma in a 9-Year-Old Child Resolve Spontaneously?
Disease description:
The child has been diagnosed with asthma. We are unsure whether this condition can resolve spontaneously. Can asthma in a 9-year-old child resolve on its own?
Asthma in 9-year-old children generally does not resolve spontaneously. Because this condition is relatively severe and often caused by genetic factors, it cannot self-resolve. Once diagnosed with childhood asthma, treatment should be initiated under a physician’s guidance—such as appropriate use of montelukast sodium chewable tablets—and may be supplemented with corticosteroids. Additionally, strenuous physical activity should be avoided in daily life.
