How is acute closed soft tissue injury treated?
Disease description:
I have been diagnosed with an acute closed soft tissue injury, and it is extremely painful. What is the appropriate treatment?
Patients with acute closed soft tissue injuries may undergo massage therapy or Tui Na (Chinese therapeutic manipulation) to improve local blood circulation and facilitate recovery. If pain is relatively severe, analgesic medications—such as meloxicam tablets—may be prescribed and used appropriately under a physician’s guidance. Additionally, topical treatments like indomethacin plasters may be used in combination for enhanced efficacy.
