Multiple Nabothian cysts of the cervix can generally be treated with medications, surgery, or other modalities. For smaller cysts, oral antibiotics such as ofloxacin or vaginal suppositories for cervicitis may be prescribed. For larger cysts, local laser therapy or loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) of the cervix may be performed. After surgery, adequate rest and enhanced nutritional intake are recommended to facilitate recovery. Patients should maintain local hygiene postoperatively and abstain from sexual intercourse for one month. A follow-up examination is advised one month after surgery.
