What could cause a 10-month-old baby to have a fever without cold symptoms?
Disease description:
While checking on the baby after dinner, I noticed the baby had a fever, but no cold symptoms. Why would a 10-month-old baby have a fever without any signs of a cold?
This may be the early stage of a cold. Initially, fever occurs, followed by common cold symptoms. Urinary tract infections primarily manifest as frequent urination, urgency, and dysuria. Central nervous system infections mainly present with fever, headache, and vomiting; severe cases may involve seizures, coma, and other symptoms. Regularly opening windows for ventilation is recommended. The physician will need to perform certain examinations—such as physical examination and laboratory tests—to identify the underlying cause.
