Dr. Lin Yunfei
Ankylosing spondylitis may cause pain in the scapular region. If patients with this condition do not receive timely and effective treatment, the scapular area may become involved, leading to pain. Additionally, such pain may also result from cervical spine compression. If the pain is severe, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, may be used appropriately under a physician’s guidance.
