Hepatitis A inactivated vaccine is typically administered in two doses for individuals aged 1–16 years, with an interval of approximately six months between doses. Individuals aged 16 years and older require only a single dose. Following vaccination, the body develops neutralizing antibodies and acquires immunity. This vaccine is primarily used to prevent hepatitis A. Adverse reactions following vaccination may include fever and local symptoms such as pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site; these are generally mild and resolve spontaneously.
