Dr. Lin Yunfei
Coccydynia (pain in the coccyx) may be associated with arthritis; however, this association can only be confirmed if X-ray imaging reveals narrowing of the joint space. Patients should maintain proper sitting posture in daily life and, during leisure time, perform gentle stretching exercises for the gluteal muscles to strengthen them. If pain is severe, prompt medical evaluation and treatment at a hospital are recommended.
