Is it sufficient to treat chronic gastritis with Sanjiu Weitai alone?

Treating chronic gastritis with Sanjiu Weitai alone may not be sufficient. Sanjiu Weitai refers to Sanjiu Weitai Granules, which possess properties of clearing heat, drying dampness, promoting qi circulation, invigorating blood, soothing the liver, and relieving pain. It can alleviate symptoms—such as nausea, vomiting, and acid reflux—associated with superficial gastritis. However, it is not effective for all types of chronic gastritis, such as cases caused by *Helicobacter pylori* infection. Therefore, treatment of chronic gastritis should target the underlying cause.
