What Should You Do for Red, Swollen Gums and Mouth Ulcers?
Disease description:
I’ve recently developed mouth ulcers and would like to consult about managing gingival redness and swelling along with oral ulcers.
Gingival redness and swelling, along with oral ulcers, can be alleviated by rinsing the mouth with normal saline. Patients should also take medications—such as amoxicillin dispersible tablets—under the guidance of a physician.
In daily life, patients are advised to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing their teeth twice daily (morning and evening) and rinsing their mouth before and after meals. Additionally, they should follow a light diet, consuming more fresh fruits and vegetables.
