Pediatric nasal polyps commonly present with symptoms such as nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, and olfactory dysfunction. As the condition progresses, additional symptoms—including tinnitus and hearing loss—may develop. Once diagnosed, parents may administer corticosteroid medications to their children under a physician’s guidance; for example, mometasone furoate nasal spray. In more severe cases, endoscopic sinus surgery may be performed to remove the polyps.
