Can allergies cause fatigue?
Disease description:
My daughter was exposed to pollen while playing outside yesterday and appears to be experiencing an allergic reaction. After returning home, she has been complaining of fatigue. Can allergies cause physical fatigue?
Allergies can cause fatigue. During an allergic reaction, systemic organ involvement occurs, leading to fatigue. If the allergic reaction causes either hypertension or hypotension, fatigue may also result. Difficulty breathing due to allergies can further exacerbate fatigue. Additionally, fatigue commonly accompanies other allergy-related symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.
