How to Restore Normal Vision in Myopia
Disease description:
I currently have 400 degrees of myopia. Wearing glasses is very inconvenient, and wearing a mask often causes fogging due to exhaled breath. How can I restore my vision to normal?
Myopia can be corrected to normal vision with eyeglasses. Patients should seek timely medical evaluation at a reputable hospital and, under their physician’s guidance, wear appropriately prescribed glasses to correct myopia. Alternatively, contact lenses may be fitted; their corrective principle is largely similar to that of spectacles but minimizes image magnification effects. Laser refractive surgery is also an effective treatment option, often resulting in improved visual acuity postoperatively.
