Recently, my complexion has been somewhat pale, and I feel slightly dizzy when standing up quickly. A friend suggested that I might have anemia. I’d like to know whether fasting is required for anemia testing.

If only a complete blood count (CBC) is performed to evaluate anemia, fasting is not strictly required. However, to enhance the accuracy of the test results, it is advisable to conduct the CBC while fasting.
