Bloody stool wiping after constipation may result from injury to the intestinal mucosa caused by straining during passage of hard stools. It may also indicate an anal fissure, as constipation often leads to excessive straining during defecation, which can tear the anal tissue and cause bleeding. Additionally, hemorrhoids may be present; straining during bowel movements due to constipation can cause hemorrhoidal vessels to rupture, leading to bleeding.
