Pain between the eyebrows may result from prolonged use of electronic devices—such as computers, smartphones, and televisions—causing excessive contraction and spasm of the ciliary muscle within the eye, leading to visual fatigue. Alternatively, it may be caused by glaucoma, particularly angle-closure glaucoma, in which the anterior chamber angle of the eye becomes obstructed. This obstruction disrupts the normal circulation of aqueous humor, causing excessive accumulation of aqueous humor within the eye and impairing its drainage, thereby elevating intraocular pressure.
