How is hypersensitive pharyngitis treated?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve felt nauseous when drinking water and uncomfortable while brushing my teeth. After examination, I was diagnosed with hypersensitive pharyngitis. How is hypersensitive pharyngitis treated?
This condition can generally be treated with medication. Primary symptoms include itchy throat, dry cough (recurring), paroxysmal sneezing, clear nasal discharge, and itching of the eyes and ears. If itching affects any of the five sensory organs (eyes, ears, nose, throat, or skin), oral antihistamines may be taken. Patients are advised to drink plenty of water and ensure adequate rest in daily life.
