Can sinusitis and nasal mucosal erosion heal spontaneously?
Disease description:
I previously had sinusitis, and I’ve been undergoing treatment recently. There is still some erosion present. Can sinusitis-related nasal mucosal erosion heal spontaneously?
This condition generally does not resolve spontaneously. Prompt treatment is essential to prevent disease progression and avoid missing the optimal treatment window. Mild nasal mucosal erosion can be managed with anti-inflammatory medications; however, more severe cases may require surgical excision. To achieve full recovery, it is crucial to maintain good personal hygiene—wash hands frequently and avoid rubbing the nose with hands. Additionally, adopt a light, balanced diet and ensure adequate sleep—avoid staying up late.
