Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) presents with symptoms including nasal obstruction, blood-tinged nasal discharge, headache, and diplopia. NPC is a relatively common malignant tumor that may cause cervical swelling and extensive lymph node metastasis. The nasopharynx is a confined anatomical space; as the tumor progresses, it tends to grow upward and laterally, invading the skull base and parapharyngeal regions. Invasion of cranial nerves at the skull base can lead to symptoms such as strabismus, diplopia, and facial numbness.
