Symptoms of Knee Periostitis
Disease description:
Recently, my husband has been experiencing persistent knee pain, and he was ultimately diagnosed with knee synovitis. What are the symptoms of knee synovitis?
Knee periostitis causes pain in the knee area. Typically, pain symptoms subside during rest but intensify with cold exposure or physical activity, often manifesting as aching discomfort. Additionally, it may lead to fluid accumulation (effusion) and swelling (edema) around the knee. Moreover, skin temperature over the affected area may increase due to ongoing inflammatory stimulation.
