What causes numerous capillaries to appear on the nose?
Disease description:
While applying a face mask at night, I noticed numerous capillaries appearing on my nose—what could be causing this?
Numerous visible capillaries on the nose may indicate rosacea, commonly triggered by decreased immune resistance or excessive sebaceous gland secretion. Alternatively, it could be folliculitis—typically caused by bacterial or fungal infection of the hair follicles in the nasal skin. Additionally, seborrheic dermatitis is another possibility, often resulting from increased sebaceous gland activity or impairment of the skin’s immune barrier.
