This test can rule out this type of condition. If the coronary arteries show no stenosis, the result is considered normal. However, if coronary artery stenosis is detected on CT, it suggests that the actual extent of coronary artery disease may be less severe than what the CT imaging indicates. Therefore, patients undergoing treatment for this condition should incorporate breathing exercises as part of their management. For patients experiencing chest pain, a chest X-ray may be performed to exclude intrathoracic pathology.
