Can I drive at night after undergoing myopia surgery?
Disease description:
I drove myself to undergo myopia surgery and need to drive home afterward. Can I drive at night after having myopia surgery?
You should not drive at night on the same day you undergo myopia surgery. Patients with good vision on the second postoperative day may consider driving, but it is best to avoid driving for at least one week. After one week, nighttime driving may be resumed—especially once glare symptoms at night have resolved. For one month following surgery, avoid exposing your eyes to unclean water to prevent ocular infection.
