How to Manage Facial Telangiectasia
Disease description:
I have visible facial telangiectasia (spider veins), which appear particularly prominent and seem to affect my appearance. How can I manage or treat facial telangiectasia?
Facial telangiectasia (visible red blood vessels) can be treated with laser therapy or electrocautery using a fine needle, both of which help reduce the appearance of redness and yield relatively good skin-repair outcomes. These two approaches are physical treatments and generally carry minimal side effects, causing no significant damage to facial skin. However, during the recovery period, facial skin tends to become more sensitive; therefore, diligent post-treatment skincare is essential—including strict sun protection.
