Oral mucoceles do not resolve spontaneously. Surgical excision is the standard treatment for oral mucoceles, and complete removal typically results in cure. An oral mucocele consists primarily of a cyst wall and cystic fluid, usually presenting as a spherical lesion. It may cause pain and significant discomfort; therefore, early surgical intervention is recommended. Prior to surgery, thorough diagnostic evaluation is essential.
