Can patients with pulmonary bullae use a ventilator?
Disease description:
I have pulmonary bullae and feel some chest tightness; I would like to use a ventilator. Is it safe to use a ventilator in patients with pulmonary bullae?
Pulmonary bullae patients can generally use ventilators, but the decision depends on the individual’s specific condition. If the symptoms of pulmonary bullae are mild and no dyspnea is present, ventilator support is typically unnecessary. However, in cases of more severe symptoms, a ventilator may be required to alleviate chest tightness, shortness of breath, and dyspnea.
