How to restore vision in mild myopia
Disease description:
I’ve recently noticed some signs of nearsightedness—I see things a bit blurry. I’d really like to ask: How can mild myopia be corrected to restore vision?
Hello,
Myopia (nearsightedness) refers to a condition in which, under relaxed accommodative conditions, parallel light rays entering the eye are focused in front of the retina after passing through the eye’s refractive system. Myopia is also known as “short-sightedness,” because individuals with this condition can see nearby objects clearly but struggle to see distant ones.
Myopia is categorized into two types: true myopia and pseudo-myopia. Pseudo-myopia—often caused by excessive ciliary muscle spasm—can be reversed through lifestyle adjustments and appropriate eye relaxation. In cases of mild true myopia, vision improvement may be possible by modifying visual habits.
In daily life, ensure adequate rest and avoid staying up late. Limit screen time—including television, computers, and smartphones—and consider performing regular eye exercises, all of which may support visual recovery.
We hope the above information is helpful to you. Wishing you a happy and healthy life!
