The right arm often feels weak, commonly due to cervical spondylosis or ulnar nerve compression. Cervical intervertebral disc herniation and osteophyte formation—arising from various causes—can compress the spinal nerve roots, leading to numbness and weakness in the muscles of the right hand. Typical symptoms include aching pain in the arm, restricted shoulder movement, and, in some cases, dizziness and nausea. Additionally, ulnar nerve compression—often resulting from prolonged wrist extension—may cause sterile inflammation of the lateral epicondylar region of the humerus, leading to pain along the radial side of the forearm.
