What causes pain in the finger joints and elbow joints?
Disease description:
My fingers feel slightly stiff, and I also experience pain in my elbows. What could be causing pain in the finger and elbow joints?
It could be arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or rheumatic arthritis. The aforementioned symptoms may result from fatigue, exposure to cold, decreased immunity, or general physical weakness. Initially, adequate rest is essential; keep warm and avoid cold exposure or excessive physical strain. Medications that promote blood circulation and relieve pain, along with physical therapies—such as acupuncture and massage—may be beneficial. If necessary, consult an orthopedic specialist at a hospital for diagnostic imaging (e.g., joint X-rays) and laboratory tests, including rheumatoid factor and antistreptolysin O (ASO) panel.
