Dr. Lin Yunfei
Muscle hardening following injury results from inflammation caused by local soft tissue damage, leading to edema at the wound site and surrounding tissues. Moxibustion therapy at a hospital can be beneficial, as it promotes blood circulation and helps protect the patient from wind-cold exposure, thereby alleviating inflammatory symptoms. The wound should undergo antiseptic debridement and be kept clean. As local tissue gradually heals, this condition will progressively resolve.
