How to Prevent Myopia
Disease description:
Myopia significantly impacts learning and work, making prevention essential. I’m concerned my son might also develop myopia and would like to learn how to prevent it.
Use your eyes correctly and increase outdoor activities. Prioritizing outdoor activities—through adequate sunlight exposure and physical exercise—can slow the progression of myopia. Sunlight and outdoor activity help strengthen scleral function, thereby reducing the likelihood of axial elongation of the eye. Additionally, practice proper eye use: avoid overusing your eyes and prevent ocular fatigue. Maintain correct posture while reading or writing, and avoid reading under excessively bright lighting.
