Patients with penicillin allergy should immediately discontinue the drug and receive prompt anti-allergic treatment. In cases of severe allergic reactions, emergency resuscitation must be initiated immediately. If patients develop rashes or itching, antihistamines or calcium gluconate with vitamin C may be administered under medical supervision. In the event of anaphylactic shock, timely oxygen administration and rapid fluid replacement are essential; treatment should include subcutaneous injection of epinephrine and may also involve the use of corticosteroids.
