After my baby drinks milk, he/she becomes fussy, keeps crying, and has some coughing. I'm not sure if it's a formula allergy. What are the symptoms of infant formula allergy?
Symptoms of infant formula allergy are varied. Digestive symptoms mainly include spitting up and vomiting; in severe cases, infants may also experience bloating, abdominal pain, or even diarrhea. Skin symptoms may also occur, such as eczema or hives, along with redness of the skin. When formula allergy occurs, respiratory symptoms may also develop: infants may suffer from persistent coughing and wheezing, itchy nose, nasal congestion, and frequent sneezing.
