Can excessive dampness cause a sore and swollen throat?
Disease description:
I've long suffered from excessive dampness in my body and am worried it might cause a sore and swollen throat. Can excessive dampness lead to throat pain and swelling?
Heavy dampness does not cause a sore throat. Patients with excessive dampness may experience oily hair, sticky bowel movements, poor appetite, dry mouth, bad breath, and irregular menstruation. Patients should avoid frequent late nights, ensure adequate sleep, and get plenty of rest. Drink plenty of water to maintain sufficient hydration. In daily diet, avoid raw, cold, greasy, and spicy foods; focus on light meals and consume warm, nourishing foods.
