Pinworm infection of the vulva is a common parasite that inhabits the digestive tract and vulvar area, and children are particularly susceptible to this condition. Diagnosis is typically confirmed by examining secretions from the area between the anus and labia; if adult female worms or eggs are found, the diagnosis can be established. At the same time, a routine vaginal discharge examination should be performed to determine the vaginal pH level and to check for inflammation, infection, or other abnormalities.
