Can cervical spondylosis cause headaches and eye pain?
Disease description:
Does the pain my uncle feels when bending over indicate cervical spondylosis? Can cervical spondylosis cause headaches and eye discomfort?
Cervical spondylosis can cause eye pain and a sensation of fullness due to irritation of the sympathetic nerves. Symptoms of sympathetic nerve excitation may occur, such as偏头痛 (migraine), dizziness, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, decreased visual acuity, and changes in pupil size. Some patients may also experience eye pain along with palpitations and arrhythmia. Individuals with cervical spondylosis who present with eye discomfort should receive timely local block therapy.
