Dr. Lin Yunfei
Treatment for radial tenosynovitis includes both surgical and conservative approaches. Conservative treatment primarily refers to medication, with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) being commonly used for radial tenosynovitis to relieve pain. Aspirin and celecoxib capsules are frequently prescribed medications. Patients often apply sodium diclofenac topically to the affected area for effective anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. However, conservative treatment only aims to alleviate pain and improve wrist function, without fundamentally resolving the issue of tendon sheath narrowing. As a result, tenosynovitis tends to recur after conservative management.
