Hello, right-sided heart failure is primarily characterized by systemic congestion. When the gastrointestinal tract becomes congested, patients may experience loss of appetite, poor appetite, and even irregular diarrhea and constipation. Lower limb edema may also occur, and in severe cases, pleural effusion can develop. Hepatic congestion may lead to hepatic distension and pain; as congestion worsens, liver function may decline. We hope this information is helpful to you. Wishing you good health!
