It has been a year now. Every time during my period, the flow becomes very light on the second day—just a little spotting. Light menstrual flow on the second day may be caused by irregular lifestyle, induced abortion, or other factors. Some women have irregular living habits, such as chronic sleep deprivation, high work pressure, and physical exhaustion, which can affect endocrine function, leading to hormonal imbalance and consequently reduced menstrual flow. In addition, a history of recent miscarriage, dilation and curettage (D&C), or intrauterine surgery may cause endometrial damage and menstrual cycle disturbances, resulting in abnormal menstrual bleeding.
